Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
DealerProof Consulting ("DealerProof," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit dealerproof.org (the "Site") or request our auto finance consulting services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting information to us, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who We Are
DealerProof is an independent auto finance consulting service operated by Danny Rodriguez. We help car buyers review deals, negotiate, and develop finance strategy. You can reach us at danny@dealerproof.org.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect information that you choose to provide or that is generated automatically when you use the Site.
Information you give us
- Contact details — name, email address, and phone number.
- Vehicle information — vehicle year, make, model, and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
- Deal and finance details — purchase price, estimated value, amount owed, negative-equity figures, the service you are interested in, your timeline, and your stated concerns.
- Documents you send us — deal sheets, credit details, or other materials you email to us in connection with a consultation.
- Messages — anything you write in a contact form or chat.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links, collected by our hosting and form providers to keep the Site secure and working.
We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, full credit reports, or government ID numbers through the Site. Please do not submit those through web forms.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your requests and provide the consulting services you ask for.
- To contact you by email, phone, or text message about your inquiry and your engagement with us.
- To prepare deal reviews, negotiation guidance, and finance strategy.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers — companies that help us operate the Site and communicate with you, including our website host and form/data infrastructure (Netlify) and our form-submission processor (Formspree). These providers may process your data only on our behalf.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain our records, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. You may request deletion as described below.
6. How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), to protect the information you provide. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain communications. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA) and similar jurisdictions may have additional rights, including the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising them. Because we do not sell personal information, there is no "sale" to opt out of. To exercise any right, email us at danny@dealerproof.org and we will respond as required by law.
8. Cookies & Tracking
The Site uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed to function, keep forms secure, and understand basic Site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults age 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to other websites (such as social media). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; review their policies separately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
